My friend had a baby this morning… but she was in labor for like 12 hours. Our other friend that was with her texted me this at 1245AM:

I texted back:
Yay! send me pics wien u .et the chanclec
I didn’t even remember getting and sending the text until my roommate asked me if I knew the baby was born.
WHATTTTT???????? That’s crazy if that tabloid Perez quoted is telling the truth. She’s so young!

I managed to lose my glasses in my room. How I still do not know. I’ve searched every single corner and I still cannot find them. I think I threw them in the trash or something because I can’t find them ANYWHERE. That or my roommate that likes to hide our things has it and if she suddenly finds it I don’t think I’ll resist the urge to punch her in the nose. In other less uplifting news, I’m cellphone-less again.

Today I went to the library in an effort to try to read/study for a midterm I have on Monday. Instead, I ended up finding The Beatles Anthology and going through the pictures for half of the book. I want to check it out so I can finish looking at them and actually reading the book but it’s ridiculously big and I have no time to read it. I think I might over the summer though.

Last night I saw something … that broke my heart into a million little pieces. So after much persuasion I let my friends try to get me drunk… but it didn’t really work. I don’t really like the taste of tequila and my friends ended up getting more drunk than me. I seriously thought my roommate was going to sleep on the floor last night. At least it got my mind off things. Anyways when I finally got around to bed, I listened to We Get On by Kate Nash just to feel like someone sympathized with me … now that I see this picture I probably should’ve listened to some Mystery Jets.
Last night, while trying something on at Charlotte Russe guess what happened? JUST GUESS. It relates to my last post. CSS CAME ON. I seriously screamed. You can ask anybody. The song was Beautiful Song, which is in fact a very beautiful song. I love love love love it. Anyways, good job Charlotte Russe. I’ll probably go there more often now.

I knew Lovefoxxx was amazing the moment I saw the video for Let’s Make Love and footage of her on the NME tour 2 years ago, but I never could have imagined how amazing it was to be so close to her at the Echoplex last December. Gahhhhh she’s my hero! I seriously wish I could be like her when I grow up. She makes me wish I were a hetersexual man or a lesbian who had a chance with her. Anyways, just to remember all the good times from their last L.A. concert, CSS are seriously on repeat on my iPod. I’ve listened to Left Behind like 20 times these past few days.

This wall looks legendary. I want to be one with the wall. I think it’s the extra shot of espresso I got in my coffee talking. I should really get back to finishing this book and writing this paper. REALLY.
So I was mainly going to go to the Ra Ra Riot concert at UCSD in a couple of weeks to see Cut off Your Hands, but after listening to Ra Ra Riot this weekend, I’m really really excited to see them too! They’re so good and so far this is my favorite song. It’s so catchy! I seriously can’t wait for March 1st!
So my cooking phase has passed. This morning I managed to burn waffles … how I do not know. This changed my breakfest plans to grilled cheese and a vodka brownie. Alcohol makes me thirsty by the way and I forgot my water at home so I feel like I’m dehydrated. I go to lunch in half and hour so I have to wait until then unless I want to spend more of the money I don’t have ….
