My uncle took me to Costco today just in case you were wondering what happened to my dilemma. Now carrying all my crap up to the second floor is a another story. Why aren’t their elevators?? A tiny one would be quite nice! Like in Europe where I just stuck my luggage in and waited for it on my floor.
Oh I even got pots and pans what for … I do not know. Last time I tried to make Mac and Cheese I thought I was going to die from smoke inhalation. Someone get me a fire extinguisher. That is if you want me to live.
I’ve been thinking about studying abroad. I kind of want to go to England for a semester but then I remember how poor I am. At least here I can work even though I don’t make anything. Maybe I should get a job next summer and then think about going across the pond.
Fact: Everytime I see Bo from Glam God I think he’s a skinnier non-Cuban version of Perez and I LIKE IT!
Proof:
Fact: The Cho Show and Glam God are my new favorite TV shows. One because Ms. Cho is freaking hilarious and two because deep inside I feel as Korean as I feel Black even though I’m neither. Three because Handry of Glam God has the best accent in the world! Makes me want to have an accent. Handry if you read this I’m willing to be like Ricky Martin’s babies momma and have your children.
I know we’re celebrating people that work on Labor Day but do you really need to close COSTCO that day? Why? WHY? I appreciate people who make a living for themselves but I need to do some back to school shopping especially when the woman who gave me life is going to pay for it. I barely make 300 dollars a month so I can use all the help i can get. Maybe “celebrities/reality stars” should work at Costco during Labor Day, it would make for some good television. Think about it guys! You could also use the work experience. I’m talking to you Paris Hilton.
Anyways how about that McCain choosing Palin as his running mate. Smart move old man! Daddy Yankee wants me to vote for him I can’t say no to someone with such a paternal and patriotic name. Oh god its the Governator all over again.
Moving on … College is coming soon! Thank you lord. I don’t think I could stand another week at home. I need the excitement of people my own age. Even though I suck at meeting people and people skills in general, I need to be out there. Independent. Unsupervised, Exposed, Learning, Bitching & Complaining, Trying to figure out the rest of my life, Freaking out, Bestowing nicknames on everything I see. Oh and Not eating is going to be added to this as I don’t know how to cook and do not have enough meals to last me this semester. This could be a good thing. Maybe. Right now it looks like Ramen and Salad are in my future. That is unless I get my hands on a cookbook and follow the directions well.
In other news. I need to expand my music library but sticking to the one I already have Foals have put out their video for Olympic Airways
Sorry if you just read that whole thing just for the video. I have no one to talk to/ have even less of a life than I already do.
According to Klaxons’ producer James Ford, the band are making a record that will not sound much like their debut album Myths of the Near Future. He says: “They’re trying to keep it melodic and vocal because that’s one of their great strong points. It’s going to be really exciting.” It is going to be exciting!! Even more exciting when they tour the new album! Can’t wait!
For old times sake here’s Magick
The crowd for Foals at Reading and Leeds (don’t know which one) was AMAZING. As seen here:

And for your viewing pleasure HERE is an interview of Yannis (conducted during a massage mind you) at Reading and Leeds as well. It looks like he’s taking the whole not cutting our hair thing seriously.
Real Arctic Monkeys news courtesy of our beloved friends at NME.com. This time it’s good. Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme will record some songs for Sheffield band Arctic Monkeys in Joshua Tree next month. He says he’s not sure if they will be released as an album or a single, but the point is they’re recording! It’s been said that the band have the desire to make a heavier sounding record, which we have no objection to. Maybe Arctic Monkeys should consider previewing some material in the US (read: Los Angeles) … the feedback would be great. Don’t you think?
The Last Shadow Puppets played their first show last night at the Guildhall in Portsmouth, orchestra and all. Here is a video off Youtube from someone who was (needless to say) there. If my sources are correct, they didn’t play my favorite song (Two Hearts in Two Weeks if you’re interested).
And here are the other dates in which Turner and Kane will be performing.

Oh I’ve been thinking about this lately. Is it just me or does Miles Kane look like a young Paul McCartney?
I like this video more than the last one. Luke Pritchard doesn’t look as creepy. Thank you (whoever filmed this video) for that.
Apparently drummer Paul Garred is unable to play live due to what seems to be an injury of some sort, so a man in a suit (Click HERE to see said man) has been playing the drums at their live appearences. Get well soon Paul.
Here’s a video of Eight Legs performing These Grey Days and Babyshambles track Baddie’s Boogie with a fantastic ending.
